JaronPaulJones aka JPJ is the core-producer of “Journey” with Sam Hysell on co-pilot. The track started with Afro House-inspired drum grooves, layered with keys and bass all in JPJ’s home studio in Brooklyn, NY. To add a little more "sauce" JPJ enlisted Grammy-nominated saxophonist/producer FKAjazz to laced the track with beautiful saxophone parts, then later over to classically trained guitarist Eric Essebag who recorded additional rhythmic guitar elements down, resulting in this sonic fusion of multiple genres and moods.
